Part of my Northshore Harbour urban mindfulness series, this oil painting aims to capture a bit of history, urban decay but also urban revival in this one artwork.

As the Northshore area of Brisbane's original port district undergoes urban transformation, the old unused industrial tin sheds near the wharves remain and are now brightly painted to promote the redevelopment and Eat Street Market precinct. I love the coming together of the different colours, panels and materials in this picture - complete with all with rustic knocks and scratches of the past.

SIZE: 15 x 30 x 2.5cm unframed
MATERIALS: Oil on stretched canvas
FIXTURES: Supplied ready to hang with D-Ring Hooks.

About Tracey ...

I am an Australian Oil Painting Artist based in Brisbane.

'Always look up' is one of my mottos. When we look up and away from our immediate view, we can see things differently and sometimes unexpected things.

I love finding the beauty in everyday items - especially urban scenes and objects.
