'No3 lock no key' - 10 x 12cm

Strolling through Fortitude Valley in Brisbane, Australia, I spotted this teal-painted door complete with painting imperfections covering old dirt and dust. While the door was newly painted, but the vintage number '3' and somewhat tarnished lock remained.
This one-of-a-kind oil painting is part of my small-scale number series that aims to capture some of the rustic, random and quirky numbers found in our everyday life.
