Impasto 'Shining Lock of Northshore' - 15x30cm

ORIGINAL PAINTING  |  OIL & WAX ON CANVAS 

Part of my Impasto painting experiments, this painting is an abstract impasto version of my original painting of the same name.  The painting captures the image of an everyday object such as this lock which was found on a painted tin shed at the old Northshore Wharves in Hamilton, Qld, Australia. The Old Wharves of Northshore are now painted bright colours such as this cyan blue, pink and purple to form part of the vibrant EatStreet market precinct.
