I've been a bit quite of late and studio time has been pretty much nil for the past year - but I hope to be back soon with an exciting change in creative direction.
To me, art is something I need strong focus and time for (especially in the realism space) and often not a mediative thing to do.
With my poor old 19 year old puppy dog and studio friend, Riley being ill and then passing away in mid 2023, I have found it hard to get back into my art.
But as time starts to heal my broken heart, I am starting to feel inspired again but in a way that requires a bit less hyper focus.
So.... I am planning some new series themes, and trialing some new mediums such as coloured pencils and thinking beyond oil paints
