Well that was unexpected!
I was excited to get notification yesterday that my large-scale oil painting 'The Abandoned Spoon' has been selected as a finalist in the Bluethumb Art Prize - Still Life Category!
Bluethumb is the leading Australian online art gallery that does a fantastic job of promoting Australian art and providing us with a platform to sell our pieces.
The 2022 Art Prize attracted over 8800 entries (!) across a range of categories with 400 artists selected as finalists - and I was one of them!
People's Choice Award - Voting now open!
Finalists in the Art Prize are also eligible for the People's Choice award. By voting yourself, you also get a chance to win your favourite artwork from Bluethumb (up to $2000).
