Rotary Art Spectacular 2019 Finalist

I was honoured to have my crazy big 'The Abandoned Spoon' painting (like really big 1.2mtr sq) selected as a display finalist at the 2019 Rotary Art Spectacular curated by Lethbridge Gallery.  Now in it's 40th year, the Rotary Art Spectacular not only showcasing emerging artists but also raises money for charity in the process.  This year the worthy recipient was the Royal Flying Doctors Service

Attending the opening night at Central Plaza One in Brisbane's CBD on Monday the 13th May, I was blown away by the calibre of art in terms of skills, subject and mediums. I personally was so very pleased to see young painter Riley P take out 'Best in Show' for his urban scene of a Freedom Petrol Station 'Freedom at Last Light'. It was so great to see an artist who paints 'urban scenes' and 'urban decay' in a hyper realist style take out the top prize!
